If plas­tic were deli­cious, I don’t know if things would change for the bet­ter. But they would change. For one it would cre­ate yet another dietary-politic group deter­mined to con­vince oth­ers that their diet is the best one. Some things wouldn’t change. Raw food­ists would still argue that the shape of our teeth prove that we aren’t nat­u­rally inclined to eat plas­tic, among other things (like alu­minum cans and candy bars).
